About Me

My name is Tibor Varga, I am 34 years old and I live in Dunaföldvár. I create unique recycled artworks from spent bullet casings – this is Bullet Art.

I have been working with this special technique since 2020, which lies at the intersection of recycling and creativity.

The idea came from an exhibition installation I participated in as a club member, where the entire sculpture was covered with bullet casings. After the project, I started thinking about how this concept would look in a smaller, pictorial format – this is how my first bullet mosaic artworks were born.

Over the years, I have developed my own working method. First, I prepare and paint the base, then draw the design. After that, I prepare the casings by cutting and sorting them, and finally I attach each piece one by one using a strong adhesive. A single artwork can contain up to 800 casings, making every piece extremely time-consuming and precise handwork.

I strive for variety in my themes: I create silhouettes, shapes, decorative elements, as well as illuminated and 3D-effect artworks. I continuously refine my technique so that each new piece becomes more detailed and refined.

I am proud that my works have already reached several countries, including the United States, and I hope to introduce this unique form of recycled art to even more people.
